This guide will show you how to set up Hosted Exchange in Outlook 2016 or newer.



Setting up Outlook 2019/365
Start by opening Outlook:


You'll then see this window, press "Next"


On the following window, check "Yes" and press "Next":



Populate the information on the following window and select "Next":



You should then get a window regarding autodiscover, asking you to allow hdcloud.co.uk to configure the account for you.

Check the box "Don't ask me about this website again" and press "Allow"




You'll then be asked to enter the password again:
Please ensure the username it has automatically selected, matches the mailbox it is trying to connect to.
Check the "Remember my Credentials" option if you do not want to enter your email password each time you open Outlook.


You should then wait just a moment before being presented with the following screen:




After clicking "Finish" Outlook will then load and set up any remaining items automatically in the background.
Start by opening Outlook:


You'll then see this window. Enter you email address and press "Connect"


You'll see this window for a moment... 


Typically in Outlook 2019/365, you may then get the following Window:
If you do select "Change Account Type"


And Select "Exchange"



You should then get a window regarding autodiscover, asking you to allow hdcloud.co.uk to configure the account for you.

Check the box "Don't ask me about this website again" and press "Allow"



You'll then be asked to enter the password again:

What about older versions of Outlook?

Outlook 2013 was the latest version prior to Outlook 2016.
This reached End-of-Life in April 2023 and is no longer supported. If you are still using Outlook 2013 or older on any of your systems, then you should enquire about an upgrade ASAP.
